PATIO WEEDER SET
Choose the right tool for the job... There are different weeding tools that can be used for different types of weeds and for weeds in different situations. For instance: it's difficult to remove weeds from cracks between bricks or pavers or in corners created by steps or edging without resorting to spraying with an herbicide--which is both expensive and harmful to both surrounding soil health and your health, as well (contact with herbicides can be carcinogenic). This Patio Weeder-two tool set can be used to safely rid these weeds by either extracting the weed completely or by cutting the weed off below its root crown. Their slender profile fits in limited spaces and allows quick, clean weeding.

SICKLES for rooting out weeds...
Our Top Selling Weeding Tool... By inserting the sharp finely serrated blade of the hand sickle into the soil to make contact with the weed's root, and by pulling both the sickle and the above-ground part of the weed simultaneously, most weeds can easily be removed completely out of the soil. If the weed has a deep taproot, or your soil is heavy clay, insert the blade to cut off its root far below the surface and yank the weed out. This handy tool is also great for trimming grass in tight spots where the mower won't reach. Use the hand sickle for most all weeding chores and quick trimming and dead-heading. My
number one favorite tool!
I do a lot
of weeding, by hand, and this tool is, without doubt, the best weeder I have ever used! I insert the sharp finely
serrated blade (14 points per inch) into the soil to make contact with
the weed's root. I can usually lift the entire weed with its root
completely out of the soil by an upward tug
with the sickle
while pulling the above-ground part of the weed with
my other hand. If the weed has a deep taproot, I insert the blade to
cut off its root far below the surface and yank the weed out.
This handy tool is also great for trimming grass in tight spots where
the mower won't reach. I use the hand sickle for most all my weeding
chores and occasional trimming and dead-heading. The
very sharp steel blade retains sharpness even with a lot of digging
through soil. The yellow wooden handle makes this tool easy to find when
left in the garden. HAND SICKLE WEEDER
