Use Vari-Flo Valves to make any mini-sprinkler or sprayer adjustable. These valves can also be used in place of a 1/4" transfer barb to start a row with shut-offs for individual plants or groups of plants. For 1/4" tubing the barbed valve works best. Use the threaded valve with 1/8" tubing or with Rigid Risers.

1/4" MICRO TUBING (.170" ID - .250" OD) MICRO TUBING is the sub-main 1/4 inch tubing (and the 1/8" inch tubing, also on this page) to which can be connected extensions of 1/4” drip tubing or sprayers, misters, etc. It is available in from 50' to 1000' rolls, and is made from the same flexible black polyethylene as the larger mainline tubing. Use MICRO FITTINGS with this tubing. 1/4"VINYL TUBING (.160"ID - .220" OD) Softer and more flexible than polyethylene. Do not use at pressure above 30 PSI. 1/4"WHITE VINYL TUBING More aesthetically pleasing than black micro tubing when extending to containers or hanging baskets.  1/4" WHITE VINYL MICRO TUBING
FITTINGS FOR 1/4" MICRO TUBING 1/4" micro fittings are used with 1/4" micro tubing and 1/4" emitter tubing and come in quantities of 10 or 100 pieces.

Use to patch a hole where a 1/4" barb was removed or as an end for 1/4"
emitter line. when inserted fits flat on mainline tubing.

THREADED CONNECTORS
32x-14TBC is a thread x barbed connector which is used to connect Rigid Riser to the irrigation system (this connector can also be used to connect 1/4" Micro Tubing to PVC). Insert threaded end into Rigid Riser (or into PVC) and barbed end into either 1/4" Micro Tubing or directly into mainline tubing. 33x-14TTB is threaded on both ends: one end inserts into Rigid Riser and the other directly into mainline tubing (this will keep a short Rigid Riser in an upright position. The hexagonal shape on this connector matches that on the back of the yellow Punch Tool (601-PUY) which can be used to thread the connector into the Rigid Riser. This tool can also be used to assist inserting threaded connecter into PVC tubing. Rigid Risers can be found on the Sprinklers/Sprayers/Misters page
1/8" MICRO TUBING 1/8" Micro Tubing is used for connecting spray stakes (found with SPRINKLERS/SPRAYERS/MISTERS ) and pot drippers (found with DRIP EMITTERS ) to the system. Threaded Vari-Flow Valves (left column) can be used in 1/8 lines to shut off spray-stakes or emitters.

MIRACLE INSERT TOOL
This tool makes it a snap to put 2-Way goof plugs or transfer barbs into 1/4" tubing and 1/4" dripline. It is not a punch. Saves time and sore hands when you've got a lot of micro tubing to install.
