FERTILIZER CADDY
Fertilizer Caddy is the perfect injector for drip or sprinkler irrigation systems. Very easy to install and simple to operate. Fill the unit with your favorite totally walter soluble fertilizer, walk away ... and forget it. When the irrigation system is in operation, water and nutrients are delivered to all the plants covered by the irrigation system. Surfactant (wetting agents) to aid in breaking-up compacted soil, compost tea to increase micro-organisms in the soil, root hormones and micro nutrients to stimulate growth can also be used in the Caddy. Fertilizer Caddys are totally proportioning--meaning that they deliver the same proportion of fertilizer to water (200:1) from start to finish.The patented hydraulic design of the Fertilizer Caddy diverts a small amount of water from the mainstream and forces it into the top of the additive tank. An equal amount of fertilizer is drawn from the bottom of the tank and forced into the mainstream of water. Fertilizer is distributed evenly throughout the irrigation system. There is no need to concern yourself with setting injection rates as with other injectors on th market. No need to have to guess how much fertilizer is actually being applied. Your plants will receive nutrients for optimum plant growth. Fertilizer Caddy can operate under constant line pressure up to 80 PSI. It can be installed into the mainline before a manifold or after an individual valve. There is negligible pressure loss and no electricity required for units to operate. Once a watering cycle is completed, there is no need to unhook the Caddy to refill, and no need to drain the fertilizer tank. It will not harm the unit to have water running through it when you are not fertilizing. Actually, the clear water passing through the unit will help keep it clean. When you are ready to fertilize again, remove both caps, replace the lower cap when all water has drained and refill fertilizer through the top opening. Replace the cap and you're ready to fertilize again. It's that simple. The unit has no moving parts and therefor there is nothing to wear out or to need adjusting. The need for accuracy in fertilizer dosing and the ease of use are considerations in selecting a Fertilizer Injector. EZ-FLOW is economical, flexible, and easy to use. It is a good choice for smaller applications. ADD IT Fertilizer Injector is a smaller system that works extremely well for deck, patio, rose garden or container plantings. MAZZEI is a simple, reliable injector that is commonly used on small farms. The injector model must be chosen for the flow and size of the specific system. FERTILIZER CADDY Fertigation System Easy to install--simple to operate--eliminates the dosing dilemma with its pre-set proportioning injection ratio of 200 parts water to 1 part fertilizer. Use any totally water-soluble fertilizer or liquid fertilizer.
Advantages of the FERTILIZER CADDY Install permanently or move around the yard, when equipped with hose threads. The inlet and outlet manifold can be installed either vertically or horizontally, making it extremely easy to install. Available in many sizes: 1 1/2 Quart, 1/2 Gallon, 1, 2, 3, 5 & 10 Gallons; with 3/4", 1", 11/2" or 2" line connections. Will operate with water pressure as low as 10 PSI Fertilizer must be in liquid form when poured into the injector-- If using dry totally water soluble granular fertilizer, premix it with water. When choosing the model consider the minimum flow rate required (30 GPH with 3/4" lines, 60 GPH with 1", 120 GPH with 1 1/2", 300 GPH wtih 2" lines), and the capacity desired for your needs. The tank capacity and flow rate will determine the gallons of flow to empty--but you need not stop the irrigation system when the Caddy is empty, as water will continue to flow through the Caddyeven when no more fertilizer remains. The Fertilizer Caddy is the simplest to operate and refill of any of the injectors.

These units will work for backyard gardeners, commercial landscapers and small farms. Just fill the tank, either with dry fertilizer or with a concentrated liquid fertilizer (not oil based), set the adjustment valve and the rest is automatic. You can see the fertilizer as it is distributed to the system.
The EZ-Flo Fertilizer Injector can connect directly to a hose bib with the included bib adapter, or connected to a main water line with an installation coupler (sold seperately). It has a low minimum flow requirement of 120 gallons per hour, but will work at a flow as low as 8 gallons per hour when the included flo-discs are installed.  EZ-FLO 2 Gallon InjectorEZ-Flo Premium 1 gallon Fertilizer Injector This is a 1 gallon constant pressure system that can be installed into a main PVC line using the PVC mainline couplers. The fertilizer injector can also be installed into a hose threaded connection using the included bib adapter and flo disk kit for lower flows. Maximum pressure is 100 PSI. FERTILIZER INJECTOR
The Mazzei is a commercial grade injector with no moving parts. There is nothing to break or to wear out. It works by suction and will draw liquid fertilizer out of almost any container. Thee Mazzei can be plumbed on a bypass for less restriction (the preferred method), or directly into a main water line. It is improtant to choose the model size carefully; too large and the unit will not draw the fertilizer at all, too small and you will restrict the flow of the system. If in doubt always choose a smaller size and use a bypass assembly. This allows you to adjust the flow through the Massei and does not restrict the system floow as much. Remember, ther are not as exacting as the MIx-Rite. You will need to experiment to get the dosages required--but once operating, the Mazzei is incredibly reliable and easy to use. All sizes have Male Pipe Threads on the inlet and outlet.
Injector, Bypass Assembly and Suction Assembly are purchased separately.
BYPASS ASSEMBLY The Bypass Assembly is pre-made of Schedule 40 PVC with a ball valve to control the flow and unions for easy removal of the injector (for cleaning). The Assembly does not include the Injector (see product illustration in accessories listed below)--items must be ordered separately. The flow chart below indicates the flow at 50 PSI and the fertilizer draw with outlet pressure at 30 PSI and 10 PSI. SUCTION ASSEMBLY The Suction Assemblies all have 10 feet of clear vinyl suction tubing, a metering valve, strainer, and connecting fittings. The 1" model has a foot valve built into the strainer. Injector, Bypass Assembly, and Suction Assembly may be purchased separately.

Line pressure forces a small amount of water into the ADD IT tank where it mixes with the fertilizer and then re-enters the mainline. There is no pressure loss through the ADD IT, but it does require a minimum of 10 PSI to operate.
