The low cost way of putting the drip exactly where your want it, these handy, versatile emitters allow you to make the best use of your irrigation system.
Individual emitters can be
inserted in 1/2" or 3/4" mainline tubing to create customized emitter
tubing. This may be the answer for some situations. It is less
expensive than purchasing IN-LINE EMITTER TUBING which comes with
pre-inserted emitters spaced at regular intervals
Emitters can be separated into two categories: Pressure Compensating (delivering a precise amount of water regardless of changes in pressure--due to changes in terrain or long rows) and Non-pressure Compensating (flow will vary with the pressure)

- MINI IN-LINE EMITTERS, POT DRIPPERS, MINI-QUART DRIPPERS, AND TAKE-APART EMITTERS are Non-Pressure compensating.

PRESSURE COMPENSATING EMITTERS
KATIF EMITERS deliver a precise amount of water regardless of changes in pressure due to long rows or changes in terrain. They reduce maintenance since they are self-flushing and rarely plug. These emitters sit flush with the tubing so they are not easily damaged by being stepped on or by weed-eaters. They operate in a pressure range of 10-50 PSI. They are installed directly into 1/2” or 3/4” tubing with the use of an EMITTER PUNCH/INSERTER TOOL.
WOODPECKER EMITTERS
The heavy duty pressure compensating emitter. Long the product of choice for many years in Northern California vineyards, they are least likely to plug. They operate well in a pressure range of from 10-70 PSI.
Insert directly into 1/2" or 3/4" tubing.
- Available in 1/2, 1, 2 and 6 Gallon per hour flows.
CETA EMITTERS
Take apart style emitters for easy cleaning. Use in a variety of ways, from containers to landscape. 1/4" barb on bothe inlet and outlet. Operate in a pressure range of 10-50 PSI.
- Available in the following flows: 1/2, 1 and 2 GPH.
MIRACLE PUNCH
This punch works like a staple gun, punching clean holes quickly and easily.. Slip the 1/2" or 3/4" tubing completely into the channel and squeeze the handle until you hear the pop. This punch will make a big job much easier. 603-PUMK makes a Katif size large hole, and 602-PUM makes a regular-size 1/4" hole for most other emitters. Punches work on both 1/2" & 3/4" tubing. Extra tips for either punch can be found on TOOLS/BATTERIES page.
NON-PRESSURE COMPENSATING EMITTERS
Flow will vary with the pressure. These will work better than pressure compensating emitters at very low PSI.
MINI IN-LINE EMITTERS
Add these emitters into existing 1/4" micro tubing by cutting the tubing where you want an emitter and inserting the barbed ends of the emitter . This is a handy way of placing emitters exactly where you want them (for unevenly spaced plants), or to add extra emitters for larger plants. These emitters fit into both the 1/4" blank tubing or the 1/4" in-line emitter tubing. Just remember that the 1/4" tubing has a maximum flow of about 30 GPH. When the total flow of all emitters on any one line adds up to more than 30 GPH, then you should add an additional line. To end the line, use a goof plug Micro Fitting (42-14GP1)
POT DRIPPERS
A basic container dripper with a 3" hold down stake and threaded inlet, connects to end of microtubing leading to each pot. For more that one dripper per pot "tee" off the 1/4" micro tubing with Micro Fitting TEE 36-14
MINI-QUART DRIPPER
The Mini-Quart is a special low-flow dripper that works great on smaller containers or on xeriscape plants. They can be placed diretly into mainline tubing or at the end of 1/4" tubing.
- THIS IS THE LOWEST FLOW SINGLE OUTLET EMITTER AVAILABLE-- at 1/4 GPH.
TAKE-APART EMITTERS
Emitters that can be pulled apart for easy cleaning. The low cost of these emitters and the fact that they can be used with low pressure gravity systems. At very low pressures these emitters work better than pressure compensating ones. 1/4" barbed outlet and inlet. The inlet can be plugged directly into mainline tubing or attached to the end of 1/4" tubing.
- 1, 2, & 4 GPH flow rates.
- NOTE: The flag end is the outlet, the beveled barb end the inlet.
