TUBINGBlank tubing (tubing without emitters built in) is used throughout a drip system. The tubing, made of thin-walled black soft polyethylene, is the main line that transfers water from the source to various emitter lines or sprinklers. This Female Hose Plug will protect your system from dirt or insects entering the tubing when it is disconnected from the water source (i.e. during winter shut down or at other times when alternating hose connections). It has male hose thread for closing off female hose beginning.

Attach the female waterstop end of this set to the male end of any hose to stop water flow while changing hoses, nozzles or sprinklers. When the fittings are disconnected, the water stops immediately. As soon as the ends are reconnected the water flow starts.
