To easily shut off or redirect water from a hose without going back to the source, these are the fittings to use.
HOSE SHUTOFFS:
HOSE PLUG This Female Hose Plug will protect your system from dirt or insects entering the tubing when it is disconnected from the water source (i.e. during winter shut down or at other times when alternating hose connections). WATER METER Measure your flow rate.. Attach the hose threaded meter to your faucet and turn on the water. Instantly you will see the digital display measuring the water usage. Run the water for exactly 1 minute and the amount shown on the display will give you a gallons per minute (GPM) flow rate.
